Mood
Singing can improve your overall mood. Science shows that the act of singing lowers cortisol, the nasty ‘stress hormone’ that causes high blood pressure. Singing has also shown to increase oxytocin, the ‘love drug’ that makes you feel closer and more attached to those around you.
Health
Beyond it’s attitude enhancing benefits, singing can improve your overall health. Bet you didn’t realize it, but you are actually getting a mini-workout when you sing.
Sleep
Singing has also been known to improve your sleep and decrease snoring. In recent studies, participants where asked to follow a precise singing regime over a period of three months. Results showed that participants reported sleeping better and snoring less.
